Job Description

Dis- Chem Apothecaries bear an educated Cleanser for their Glenfair store. You’ll be responsible to maintain a clean and neat store, by Dis- Chem’s aseptic norms. The areas will include the store bottom, stock room, apothecary, admin office and canteen

Minimum Conditions

Essential

– Grade 12/Matric
– A minimum of 6 months drawing experience
– Sound command of the English language
introductory client service
– Good language thats area specific
Willing and suitable to work retail hours

Job Specification

– Give a daily high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store, shop bottom and collaborative areas, before the store opens.
– Develop routines to insure all areas of the store are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
– Insure the canteen and restrooms are clean, and grazed with the necessary products at all times.
– Be available throughout functional hours to clean up as and when needed.
– Insure correct cleaning products and outfit are used for specific jobs.
– Insure the wet bottom sign is over and visible at both ends, when drawing the bottom.
– Be friendly, professional and suitable to help guests.
– Perform duties according to Health and Safety Regulations.

Sound command of English( written and oral)

– Be suitable to take instructions and follow through.

Previous retail store cleaning experience
Bilingual

Special conditions of employment

Willing and suitable to work retail hours suitable and physically fit for walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, and pushing, pulling lifting and moving objects
Reliable transport and/ or live in close propinquity to the store
South African citizen
Clear credit and felonious records
