Position: Waste Management X15 & Parks Section X20 EPWP General Worker
Payment: R140.85 per day ( EPWP General worker)
Conditions
– Introductory knowledge or Grade 10.
– Grade 12( added advantage).
-Valid motorist’s License( added advantage).
– Excellent interpersonal & communication chops( must be bilingual).
– Capability to follow & execute given instructions.
– Good physical health, introductory skill & know how of doing physical work.
– A hard- working tone- chastened person.
– 0 to 1 time applicable experience in general work.
DUTIES
– Performs waste control and any other general labour harmonious with operating a waste disposal installation.
-General keep of tip and operations.
– Help at recycling centre when demanded.
– help gatekeepers with commanding and controlling tip business.
– Assistance guests and the public in waste disposal.
– Picks up essence and any other sharp objects to reduce exposure to client flat tires.
– Responsible to store outfit in a safe manner, after completion of the duty to insure safe up- keeping of the defensive clothes in use during work.
– Responsible to clean and remove weeds on the pavements.
– Responsible for lading and off- lading of accoutrements and outfit of the section as and when needed.
– Refuse junking from homes.
– Broad of thoroughfares, sidewalks, hack and machine species.
– Picking of waste along the thoroughfares and main roads, including public open spaces.
– Junking of erecting ashes from public places.
-Empty thoroughfares and public sties .
– Drawing of rubbish in front of structure, road, hack and machine species, open space.
– Drawing of external structures and installations.
– Perform any other duties within waste operation section as may be delegated by the administrator/ director.
– Prosecution of all legal instructions from the administrator to insure productivity and smooth handling of the section.
– Do any work with or theater tools on sport fields, flowerbeds, pavementsetc. to produce a clean and tidy terrain.
– Use theater tools to clean areas when machines are out of order or during downtime months.

– Clean premises and cemeteries, conventions, libraries, sports centres, depots and other external installations and structures and perform other general workshop necessary.
– Put out business signs to advise business and persons about workers next to external roads, islets, pavements, open spacesetc.
– Responsible for lading and off- lading of solid waste material and outfit of the section.
– prosecution of all legal instructions from the administrator to insure productivity and smooth handling of the section.
– Reports any injury/ loss sustained while working to the administrator to insure prompt attendance and safety of the working area of responsibility.
– Perform any other affiliated announcement Hoc tasks and duties as requested or needed by operation (administrator) from time to time.
